Cosmetology Course (1600 Hours)
At Yuma School of Beauty each Cosmetology student receives three hundred hours of intensive classroom instruction. Students then enter the clinic experience which incorporates theoretical and practical training. Through work on the clinic floor, and advanced classes, the student is prepared for the salon environment.
Full Time: 10 months. Tue - Sat
8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. for the first 300 hours, then 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the remaining hours.
Part Time: 15 1/2 months
Tue - Sat 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Nail Technology Course (600 Hours)
This course covers manicuring, Pedi curing, artificial nail applications, nail art and theory. Students entering this course need to be prepared for intense study and practice because of the short duration of the course.
Full Time: 4 1/2 months. Tue - Sat
8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. for the first 120 hours, then 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the remaining hours.
Part Time: 6 months
Tue - Sat 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Instructors Course
If applying for the Instructors Course the applicant must also hold a cosmetology license issued by the state of Arizona and present notarized proof of one years work experience. The work must average a minimum of three days per week for the year.
